3 point hyperextension brace with pressure setting in the sternum region

The MP45 Spinal Hyperextension Brace was designed to provide effective control of spinal motion for post-surgical, post-trauma and degenerative indications.

The unique spring-controlled "floating" pelvic band adjusts constantly as the patient moves from a standing to a sitting position, effectively solving the problem of upward brace movement without compromising brace function.

The adjustment slots allow simple and convenient height and width adjustment without having to remove the brace. The padded pelvic band can be locked into position while the angle of the sternal component can be adjusted without bending to provide optimum positioning against the sternum. The brace features a lightweight aluminum construction.

Indications:

• Traumatic fractures (T10-L1/L2)
• Osteoporotic or metastatic-related compression fractures of the thoracic spine and the dorsolumbar transition (T10-L1/L2)
• Osteomalacia with fractures
• Dorsolumbar osteoarthritis
• Substitute for plaster corset
